The Domaine welcomed students from the Lyc\u00e9e Bonne Terre in P\u00e9zenas for an agroforestry project, planting 500 meters of hedges to promote biodiversity.<\/em><\/p>\n

At the Domaine Carri\u00e8re Pradal in Servian, we recently had the pleasure of welcoming students from the Lyc\u00e9e Bonne Terre as part of a partnership focusing on agricultural professions.<\/p>\n

We accompanied first- and second-year students in the agricultural trades class, arboriculture option, on a practical project: the planting of 500 meters of agroforestry hedge.<\/p>\n

Throughout the day, students were able to work under real-life conditions, supervised by their teachers. In the afternoon, their teachers carried out an assessment directly in the field, highlighting their commitment and technical skills in an active teaching approach. <\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf3c<\/em> A concrete project in favor of biodiversity<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

This planting is part of our overall approach to biodiversity and the development of sustainable agricultural practices.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We have chosen to plant different species:<\/p>\n

– Pistachio trees<\/p>\n

– Veneers<\/p>\n

– Hazel<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Integrating these species into an agroforestry system reinforces natural balances, promotes soil life and creates a favorable environment for auxiliary fauna.<\/p>\n

\ud83e\udd1d Passing on and building tomorrow’s agriculture<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

Through this partnership, we aim to make an active contribution to the training of future professionals in the agricultural sector. We believe that hands-on learning is essential for passing on practical, sustainable know-how. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We’re proud to have shared this day with the students and their teachers, and to be taking part, in our own small way, in building a future-oriented agriculture that combines performance and respect for the environment.<\/p>\n
