The wines
Our Origin
Our families have succeeded one another in the Languedoc region since the time of Napoleon III. This deep rooted heritage has played a key role in shaping our estate.
Producing wines for the bishopric until the early 19th century, they took turns cultivating these demanding lands, which were officially recognized as part of the AOP Languedoc appellation in 1980.
Our families have always been committed to diversifying the grape varieties grown on the estate. For instance, in the 1940s, they decided to plant resistant hybrid vines. More recently, efforts have been made to reintroduce native grape varieties such as Picpoul Noir, Morastel, and Grenache Blanc.
Ultimately, a deep agro-environmental dynamic has driven the estate for more than 40 years, guiding our choices and decisions.
Finding the Essence of Nature
Our vineyards are surrounded and interspersed with agroforestry hedgerows. These hedgerows create agro-ecological corridors that connect the various wild areas of the estate, such as the woodlands and our pond. These zones allow a richer fauna to reclaim the land, contributing to a natural and biological fight against vine fungal diseases.
